Its quite a good write-up when all said and done, I've found it quite
useful and it told me a few things I didn't know, was worth the trouble
to take in finding.

I don't play DVD'S with VLC as a rule - I have a Blu-Ray player for that
purpose <smile> -
I have heard it said that the JAWS Convenient OCR functionality is a great
help here when playing DVD'S.
