Evening all. I'm not completely sure this relates to either PCs or audio, but I suspect there's a fair chance!
I have found in a box of junk a lead with two phono (RCA) plugs on one end and on the other a snall squareish plug about the size of a mini USB connector (the type used for cameras ans such). However, it's not one of those, it has a keyway that prevents it fitting. It seems to have eight connectors in two rows. The phono plugs are yellow and white, which suggests video (and mono audio?) but I've nver come across the other end before and can't find any reference to it anywhere. There's a "blob" near one end that might have some electronics in it, but might just be a ferrite ring. Does anyone know what it's for? -- rgds LAurence <><
