it's a DAB/FM digital radio system. The product is quite accessible even
without speech. Once you know the basics like adjusting the volume and
selecting a station it's a piece of cake. Of course changing settings,
retuning or resetting to factory defaults may need sighted assistance,
as well as the advanced functions of the radio. One cool feature that
may or may not be usable by us is the ability to pause and rewind live
radio, as well as record programs for later listening. The programs are
stored in its in-built memory. There is a USB port located on the side
but it's only used to update the firmware from what I gather when
downloading the PDF manual a few days ago which, by the way, should be
accessible with your favourite reader, there is also an auxiliary input
port so you can connect your iPod or other MP3 player. Cost £84.99.
