I have to disagree since it is a matter of what you wish to do with the machine.
What I mean by that is that you can buy Macs that are high powered and are more than capable for audio and video editing. However, if you decide to buy a budget machine, then that is what you get, an under powered machine. Equally, on the question of price, I have seem Windows boxes that are overpriced for what they are. Regards.
