Its worth the while keeping an open mind and doing your research as there are 
some truly excellent products out there to be had if anyone can be bothered to 
take a few minutes to use their friend - and everyone’s friend - Google, do a 
little reading and so on.

I appreciate that everyone isn’t technically inclined when it comes to audio 
stuff and Computers but in many ways these days no one has to be, I think 
that’s one of the main reasons that the iPhone has been so successful because 
all choices have been made for you so all you really have to do is take the 
iPhone out of its box, put it on charge, turn the iPhone on, fire up Voiceover, 
follow some simple set-up instructions and you’re ready to go.

One of the most challenging and yet most enjoyable products for me has been my 
Raspberry Pi which I’ve written about a few times here, I got the Media Centre 
XBMC going on the box and now use it with my iPhone etc.
