Which app are you using that allows you to specify the DLNA output device? I'd like to check it out. Have to also check File Browser and see if it supports this.

DLNA devices are the actual players themselves such as my Denon AVR2113, Pioneer systems, Yamaha stuff and so on, I have an App that handles both - that is you browse to the file or playlist you wish to play and then you're prompted to send the audio or the video to the output DLNA device. File Browser is an excellent value for money app, will play with it some more later on today after I finish work.
