Hi umberto, and all who tried to help. when i tried this programme again, i got it to work, having added the lame. one question, i have coppied a file in to mp3, if i do another one, will it automatically go to the folder i used before for the input file, and will it automatically use the output folder. or, will i have to specify the input and output folders each time. brian.
