One of the easiest software packages to change either pitch, or rate, at the press of a key, is "amazing slowdowner from roni software. You can do it all, from the number pad on a full size keyboard.
The other beauty about this software, is how clean the result is when you listen to it, given that you are running a PC with a reasonable processor and amount of ram. I mean, running windows xp with 256 of ram won't cut it for you. I haven't tried these, but If you are on an I-device, then check out "tempo," or "any tune plus pro." Tempo has a graphical circle on the screen that as you navigate around the circumference the track either changes speed, or pitch. Haven't used any tune plus either so I can't vouch for it's accessibility. I can however tell you that it's audio, on an Ipad third generation is astonishing. However I don't see any mention on the authors web site refering to VO compliance. Good Luck, JP -- Joe Paton <j...@vi-ability.demon.co.uk>
