I am a novice at computer using and I am new to the list so I am not sure what we can discuss on the list. Are we allowed to talk about different screen readers?I do not want to get bumped off the list from mentioning something that I shouldn't.

I, for instance, am a keen user of GoldWave, though at present, I am on WindowsXP Home and my access technology is Jaws, V.10 on this laptop and V.11 on my desktop, I have GoldWave V5.70 on both which, so far as I am aware, is still the latest version (at least for my system) maybe there are later programs capable of working with Windows7 and/or Windows8 of which, because I am still on XP Home, the update routines have not made me aware. I have been using GoldWave since 2006 most of the time in it's basic form this suits me for the areas I use, I do know very well.
