Greetings, Place cursor at start point of required fade then press left square bracket, ensure finish marker is at the point at which you want fade to end, probably in this case end of track, press right bracket.
Now go into effects menu with alt-c then u for volume, then cursor down to the item, choose the kind of fade you want, i.e logrhythmic or whatever, enter, job complete. Play sound and if happy, fine else ctrl-z and try again with different settings.
