Do you all have any preferences for the sound quality of aif files vs wav? I am using itunes to create CDS and I think I hear a difference between files converted or ripped from a commercial cd whether they are converted into wav or aif formats. Reading on the internet, I find that the conventional wisdom is that there is know difference. But, Wav seems to me to be a little mor open, natural and unforced. Could this be caused by Itunes?
