I don't know what this actually has to do with Blue Ray but yep, VLC can play 
Blue Ray discs so long as a compatible drive is connected, I play these through 
my Play Station which - as I'm finding out now - is the cheaper, easier, faster 
and more flexible alternative - the chap on the "Tech Talk" show heard on KFWB 
every Saturday afternoon certainly knew what he was talking about there - 
<smile>.
