In Firefox you don't have to do the insert+z. For me I have to down arrow to where it starts to read "Flash Start". then the buttons appear like default, normal and some others. I managed to find this slider/progress bar? between watch later and pause buttons. When on this object with % announcements I pressed my up arrow key to increase the volume sound.
