Hi Bud,
That is exactly right, two stereo male plugs into one stereo female plug. I
don't necessarily need that, but I want the option. My main purpose is
because I scan a lot of books for Bookshare, and I want to plug one male
jack into my computer, so I can hear what K1000 is doing, and plug the other
male jack into my Book Sense so I can read BARD books while I'm scanning and
hear both on my headphones. Neither one of those needs stereo input, but
nevertheless, I may want to listen to stereo music from my computer while
I'm scanning and reading, or whatever. I think it's just better to have the
stereo option.

Hi Evan,
Glad you found something. If it doesn't work let me know. I guess what
you want is two stereo male plugs terminating in a female stereo with both
stereos coming through in paralell.

Hi Bud,
Thanks for the offer. I found one on Amazon. I had to go through a number
of items, and not all of the cables that have two male jacks and one
female jack work in stereo. Some split a stereo signal into two mono
signals. I wanted to have the stereo option. I finally found one that
reviewers say actually works in stereo for both inputs. We'll see when I
get it.

Hi again,
I had suggested Radio Shack, but if you don't find it let me know as I
have all kinds of cables and connecters here and may have just what
you're looking for. If I do I would send it to you, no charge. Let me
know if you have any luck.

Hey Guys,
I want to listen to two different audio sources at the same time with my
headphones. So I need a connector with two male eighth-inch jacks at one
end, then several inches of cable, merging into one eighth-inch female
jack at the other that I can plug my headphones into. Anybody know where
I can find such a thing?
Thanks much.
