Yeah, it's true. The only advantage to the LS 7is that it's small like a DM
would be. Now you can use condencer mikes with this or the LS 14, but they
have to either be battery powered or consumer pluggin powered. The LS 100
allows you to go pro and use mikes with XLR and Phantum power. I want one.
Think of the LS 100 as something like a talking Zoom H4N with out some of
the other fancy stuff of the H4N. If pro is not your intent, then perhaps
the LS 14 might even be enough. The 7, well if you want it to be really
small like a DM recorder.
