Sorry Joanne, I've never experienced this in my time using both programs.
I'm currently using JAWS 13 and 14 with the latest Winamp, and haven't come
across any speech related difficulties. Really don't know what to suggest as
a possible remedy.

Has anyone else had trouble with Jaws freezing while using Winamp? This
has happened on more than one machine and probably more so with newer Jaws
versions but I can't be sure what's going on. Is there something I can do
in either Jaws or Winamp's configuration to minimize the chances of my
speech going away? I hope someone can help.
