These speakers are very good for speech, they're okay for music but then again they're only worth $50.00.
The big surprise I continue to get from this speaker set is just how loud, crisp and clear the sound is and how well this speaker system projects sound to the ears when you have them standing on a shelf in front of you. As for who sells them in Australia? I bought mine from eBay so use Google to find out who stocks them locally. As I said at the start, the Altec Lansing Expressionists speakers were only bought as a stopgap whilst I saved enough money to order my Harman Kardon Sound Sticks which I'll be doing later this week, to say that I've been more than satisfied with the stopgap measure I chose to take would be an understatement, not as good as my former Altec Lansing Expressionists Ultra system or not as good as the Harman Kardon Sound Sticks but then both those systems are a lot more money.
