As I got no answer from Saturday's original post, I am reposting in
hopes of some resolution to this problem. I no there are Goldwave users
on this list, and surely some of them have at least attempted to read
the V U meter. I could do this in earlier versions of Goldwave but
cannot seem to do so in more recent versions.
Regardless of which screen reader you use, is anyone on this list able
to read reliably the Goldwave V U meter. I am using version 5.67 but
cannot figure out how to read the meter with either Window-eyes or with
Jaws. I am not using scripts for either screen reader for Goldwave. So
if you are able to read the V U meter, please tell me which screen
reader you use, whether you are using some sort of script, and the
specific key presses to read the V U meter.
One more question if I may. In the tools menue, what difference does it
make whether one checks the control key option?
