Ray, I know, like me, you probably hate it when people post replies that say things like, "Why don't you try ..." or, "I think maybe this might work ..." and they really don't have the first clue what they're on about and shouldn't have wasted either your or their time, but I think this reply might be a little more on the mark than that.
I am by no means a Windows 7 expert, but the first place I'd look is on the View menu, wherein things like file sort order are usually found. If you get no happiness there, I humbly apologize for falling headlong into my own trap by posting a useless, helfulless message. LOL.
