Dave,

I think I recall the kind of problem you're referring to. I remember that on
the first Kingston SD card I purchased to use with the NLS player, a "U3"
file had to be removed. Via google, I found an installer specific to that
application. However, in looking over my NLS player notes just now, I find
the following that may provide you with a simpler solution. I may have
copied it from the NLS's DTB Q&A. Here goes:

You most likely purchased one of the newer G2 Kingston flash drives which
comes with installed software that will prevent it from working with the DTB
player. You must remove this software to get the drive to work. To do this,
plug the flash drive into your PC and scroll through the list of folders.
There should be an Uninstall option. Click on this Uninstall option, and the
built-in software will be removed. Then reformat the drive using the Format
option on the Context menu, and your drive should work with the DTB player.

You have to go into some settings thing that I can't remember at the moment.
I'll look it up for you since I have this info saved on my mybook hard
drive. Please E-mail me off list so I can reply to that E-mail since I think
this is also going down the dark path of being ot too.
