It may be only my experience, but I haven't been able to get VLC to work
right! On the other hand, Media Classics does pretty good for me!

Well, that's too bad. However, all the video junkies seem to use it, and
it's the only player I've ever used that has so far played every single
video format straight "out of the box", without the need to download
codecs or any of that crap.

You can't prove that statement (VLC being the best thing for playing
videos) by me! Whenever I try to use it, the video doesn't play
correctly! It jerks and the thing just won't play correctly!

Yes, it's true. There should be a file in your directory that lists all
the keystrokes. When you first start the player it may be hidden; you
have to check the "view interface" box. It should be in your system tray
once it starts. Sorry I can't be more helpful at the momen, but though
there isn't a lot of documentation you should be able to figure most of
it out with some experimentation. Although I use winamp for all my
music, VLC is pretty much the best thing you can possibly have for
playing videos/movies, so if you care about that stuff, you should
persevere with it.

Subject: using VLC media player?
Hello Listers,
I just recently downloaded and installed VLC media player, and now I'm
lost.
When I pressed inter and the player came up Jaws13 doesn't say a word
when I
press a key, like the alt key for example. I've heard that we can use
VLC
is it true?If so, what is the keystrokes to work the program?
Thanks to all.
Carliss
