Hello. I am aware of a few accessible programs that record streaming audio (even the audio component of any streaming video) but these all record only what the sound card of my PC processes and outputs via the PC speakers or headphones. However the sound card on PC's and laptops are really limited in their ability to process and output high quality audio like an audiophile like me prefers. Is there any accessible software that records the audio stream bypassing the sound pcard and picking up the raw digital data of the stream and recording it as high quality mp3 or wav?
