That's cool man. -----Original Message----- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Gary King Sent: Friday, April 20, 2012 11:58 AM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Media Player Classic Home Cinema
I downloaded Media Player Classic Home Cinema 64-bit and installed it on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit computer. I needed to upgrade DirectX using the link to Microsoft on the download page. If you don't have the correct version of DirectX, the player will let you know. I've only tried one movie so far, which seemed to play fine as far as the sound anyway. I didn't have anyone present to look at the picture. This was the movie that gave me grief with JAWS and Windows Media Player, complaining about not being able to apply copy protection to the output device. I'm glad to report that no such problem occurred with MPCHC. So far I'm pleased with the player, but I need to put it through its paces before I can comment on it further. Hopefully, others will download this free player and give it a try. It plays many audio and video formats according to the feature list.
