Hi
You could use the voice over effect - you can adjust where the clipboard sound appears by setting the in marker before calling up the voice over effect. Once in the voice over effect then you can adjust the start fade and end fade and the amount you wish the background music to be lowered by - it is set at -18 which sounds as if it might do just what you want.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Help with Gold Wave

Hello,

I need to mix the sound of the clipboard on top of a file of background
music, with the volume of the music being reduced to about 20% or 30%. I
have done this before, but either I forgot how, or something has changed
with the updates of Gold Wave.

When I mix with Control-M the volume of the background is not reduced, when
I override with Control-K it is completely obliterated. I cannot find where
to adjust the volume while mixing.

Can anyone help, please?

Humberto
