Hey Tim, I really don't have a problem editing audio. After all, that's what it is, so I can happily select passages, fine tune the selection, mix, paste, copy and other manipulating functions without problems.
Maybe if I used the scripts i'd find it easier, but it works just fine right now. It would be nice, but not essential to hear the record, play, pause, stop fast forward et cetera spoken as they used to be, but it isn't impeeding me at all. I haven't undertaken any batch processing with this latest release, so we'll see how it goes when the time comes around.
