Thanks, Gary. I do have sighted help, so if it is a one-time set up, then I will spring for the tuner card if I end up getting the machine. I wonder if there is anybody on this list who has either the xps15 or 17, and if you can comment on speaker placement. I read a review last evening by an unhappy owner of the 17-inch model, who was unhappy because the speakers are apparently near the front, and his wrists covered them while he typed. None of the reviews for the 15-inch box have referred to poor speaker placement, so I'm just curious.
