Echo is when sound waves bounce back from hard surfaces. Reverb is when you get lots of those reflections of sound waves, making the type of echo you would get in a room. The reverb in Goldwave is really poor. You may wish to use a plug-in for better reverb. Hope this helps.

I was thinking I would like to have just a bit of echo on it. I am not sure what the difference in Goldwave is between echo and reverb, but, if I have tried all the settings correctly, there is too much echo and too much delay. Are there any plug ins that would give just a very slight echo so I don't have to get one of these psychodelic sounding things? What's the difference between echo and reverv anyway? Thanks.
