The recording quality of the Zoom H1 seems unquestioned. However, a number of people, here and on Amazon, keep saying it's a great recorder for the price. I'm wondering if there's a more expensive recorder that has equally high recording quality, also avoids menus and is otherwise just as simple to operate but that is more durable and possibly has slightly larger buttons or buttons that project out rather than being flush with the panel.
A separate question. There is said to be no pause button, but both the Cool blind Tech presentation and the manufacturer say the play button is a play/pause toggle during recording. So am I right in inferring that when people say the H1 doesn't have a pause function, they mean only that it can't be paused during playback? -----Original Message----- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of JULIE RODAWAY Sent: Saturday, March 19, 2011 1:06 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: for rob, the blind cool tech link for zoom h1 review http://media.libsyn.com/media/bct/bct1502ZoomH1RecorderReview.mp3 To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
