please excuse the cross posting.
I'm trying to find an easy to use, screen reader accessible sound font
player.
I'm currently using syfon1, a version of synth font. Mostly its accessible
but I can't work out how to change the sound font and selected instrument
for each channel. I did look at synth font but the UI is just a little busy.
I'd be more than happy if people have some tips to make either of these
beasts easier to use.
If not I'm after a player which:
1. can do real-time, or near real-time playback so I can record against it.
2. can take input from a midi in device, I'm currently using a virtual midi
cable from my sequencer, QWS.
3. Must support ASIO.
4. cheep, or better still free.
5. Work on windows xp and/or 7.
Any ideas gratefully received.
