If you use ITunes, you can add the folder to your library containing the songs, which will make a copy of the tracks as AAC files if you wish. I think the default is 128 kbps AAC when you firts install ITunes.

Subject: Software to Convert mp3 to aac

Hello, I am new to this list, and new to audio software, so I hope I'm not rehashing a recently covered topic.
I'm using Window Eyes 7.2 on a Vista Home Premium machine. I buy songs and
albums from Amazon at 256kbps mp3 and I want to convert them to 128kbps
aac. A friend of mine says that Quicktime will do it, but that it only
works on one track at a time. Is there something I can get that's
accessible and that will do an album at a time?
Thanks for any advice.

Evan
