That's kind of an odd one but when your in the sounds under control panel
and you play the sound does it play? If not press the browse button and
locate the sound you need. These are usually found under Windows Multi
Media. Once you've reset the sound check it again to make sure it's playing
then apply the changes once the sounds are all working and save your
scheme. You can give it any name you want such as djc's sounds. Hopefully
this will resolve this issue for you.
