Hi:
I'm using JAWS 10 with SF 10 and I do mix all the time.
You can set the mix parameters in the preference menue.
Hi:
Hi:
You ahve several ix options in the imx menue, just like in SF 8.
You can also parameter fading in the preference menue.
Personally, I prefer to use the process/fade-in/fade-out that works very
good for the type of mixing I need.
Hope it helps.

Hi Dane,

I'm not a big TV buff or VCR or DVD user, so I'm not sure if I'd really want
one of these. However, I am a tremendous music lover, and might someday
consider it for sending music from the computer to the stereo. So, I will
be anxious to hear more about it from you.

Kris

I would like to try the Apple TV now that it is accessible, but at the
moment I don't have anything with either an optical or an HDMI input. Time
to check those big sales again, I guess!

no reason why a music lover couldn't get enjoyment out of an Apple TV for
the reasons you outlined, streaming music is my primary concern too! and the
Apple TV has an optical digital connection, just perfect for the connection
to a good stereo amp or digital processor.

Hi,
when I go to certain broadcast sites like The bill sparks site, or the
blind radio site, after entering the call letters of the station I want to
hear, I get the Windows media player cannot play the file, prompt.
A friend of mine and I were online and he was showing me how to use
blindradio.com to get radio station ched in Edmonton alberta Canada.
He could get the station, while I got the windows media prompt. Is there
something wrong with my settings?
Thanks for your help.
Vinny

Hi All,

I've just joined this list and have a quick question.

I'm using Sound Forge 10, on a new pc running windows 7. Previously I was
using SF version 8 and one of the really nice features that I used all the
time on V8 was the mix function. I notice, on version 10, that the facility
to fade in and out during a mix, for example if mixing a voice over music,
is gone.

In version 8, there was an option in the mix dialogue to set the fade in and
fade out times for the mix so it had a nice gradual fade to the sound. With
the mix in version 10 however, the fade is sudden and sounds awful. Has
anyone successfully achieved mixing in version 10 and if so, how did you go
about it.

I should finish by saying that I'm using Jaws version 12 with the snow man's
jaws scripts.

Kind regards,

Stuart Lawler.
