Jut to let you know High Criteria do a discount where you can upgrade to
at least the next edition at a discount rather than paying the full
price. So I think from Standard to Professional it's $18. Same is true
for Professional to VideoPro.

No. Total Recorder Standard Edition does not offer the ability to
background record internet streams.

Hi Tom.
Yes this is possible. In the Professional Edition of Total Recorder
you can do something called Background Recording. What this does is
records internet streams in the background, silently. As a result none
of your sound will be picked up, including JAWS. The recording will
sound as if you were playing the stream live. A cool feature and just
one reason to spend the $38 or something like that.
