Total Recorder is, in short a very powerful sound recorder and player.
But that's not all it does. In higher editions you can also edit,
process, and convert audio and even video files. One unique feature of
Total Recorder is the ability to digitally capture what is coming
through your sound card, including your screen reader. This is done by
special drivers that comes with the program. Think of it as Total
Recorder allows one to emulate a sound card's "Stereo Mix" feature. You

i've seen total recorder discuss on this list and others before, but ignored
it because it wasn't something I was using and didn't think I would use.

begin learning about it.
