No matter what you use if there is a tiny gap at the end or a beginning
of a track it wil come out as a gap. You will have to trim off the dead
air parts and then merge them.

Hi folks,
I am using JFW 11 on Windows XP. What is the best tool to merge a
bunch of MP3 files with no little gaps in between tracks, and little
to no quality degradation? I have Goldwave, CDex, MP3 Direct Cut,
Soundforge 9, Merge MP3,and probably a few programs I have forgotten
about, but in none of these can I get these files merged without
little tiny gaps in between the merged tracks. They are not huge gaps,
but are a bit noticeable, particularly with headphones.
thanks.
