yes, it can be very useful, for instans, my new mixer has it's own pre listening knob, which I can turn on to hear my jaws if I should use headphones while doing a live broadcasting. in fact, I might fix some more cables to this mixer to connect my laptop to it, so that I don't have to use so much speakers. Well, I like to use speakers in the day, but in the night, I prefer headphones if I should be doing a broadcasting one night.
