What screen reading solution for Linux are you talking about? I wasn't aware that any were that expensive. I don't doubt you; I just guess this is a solution I haven't heard about yet.

If he says yes, then I do it. But if he says no, then it doesn't happen. And as for screen reading software for the Linux system, to get a licensed copy of it, it cost, about $2500. The station and my state won't spend that kind of money for it. That's why they are making the switch from that to a Mack. My best regards. John. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom" <t...@pc-audio.org> To: <pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Sent: Saturday, April 17, 2010 2:48 PM Subject: Re: Audio Hijack Pro something I've just discovered > You probably shouldn't be advertising on a public e-mail list that > you're stealing music from a radio station. > > Also, I think screen readers for certain Linux systems are free. > > Tom > > ** Message From: DJ DOCTOR P ** > >If I hear something I like, I will either save it as a > wave file and or a > >flack file and copy it to a flash drive just so that I > can take it home with > >me. > (snip) > >But if you're asking about the computer in the control > room, that one is > >running the Linux system. > >But they're looking to switch that one out for a Mack > system. > >The reason for this is, coming by a screen reader that > will work with the > >Linux system, is very costly.
