A PLS is a play list, so for your friend to be able to play it then for
each song in the play list, they'd have to have the same song on their
PC that you have on your PC and it would have to be in the same location
on their PC that it is on your PC, unless every entry in the PLS file is
a URL to a stream. It also looks like WMP needs a codex in order to
recognize and play PLS files. I'm no expert on PLS files, I just know
what I read at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PLS_%28file_format%29. Maybe
someone else with more experience can weigh in if this doesn't help.

Hello All List Members,
Just as the title says,.pls files won't play.
I sent one of my friends a .pls file via email.
She couldn't play it.
What could be causing this problem for her?
Thinks in advance.
John.
