How large is the number in your default crossfade? Mine is 4 digits.

High Robert and all other list members,
I played around with the buffer, it comes close to doing what I wanted to do, but it's not all the way there. How do I get it to fade in a song before the song that's playing now fades out?
I'm trying to get Winamp to sound like I'm listening to the radio.
Thinks in advance.
 John.

What I've been using for the custom settings for "on end of track" is 5863. The main one I have set for 25333. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Hutson" <pjhut...@cablelynx.com>

While we're on this thread could someone PLEASE give me some ballpark numbers on the crossfading parameters. I have been playing around with the numbers but NOT having any success at all and I would appreciate it if someone who has got this working could give me at least a little assistance? I am running Winamp 5.552. Thanks in advance...Paul ----- Original Message ----- From: "DJ DOCTOR P" <djdoct...@att.net>

High Robert,
No, how do you do that?
The play list that I have where it fades all of the tracks tightly, is a
group of jazz tunes that I recorded myself.
But the tracks in these other play lists that I have, are tracks that I
ripped from CD's.
Do those have to be edited in order for the cross fader in Winamp to work
correctly with them?
 John.

Have you checked your files for trailing silence at the end of the track? ----- Original Message ----- From: "DJ DOCTOR P" <djdoct...@att.net>

Hello all list members,
Just as the tidal says, I wish to do tight cross fading in Winamp.
But here is the funny thing.
With one play list that I have, Winamp fades them real tight.
But all the other play list that I have, this doesn't happen.
Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thinks in advance.
My best regards.
 John.
