It doesn't support Audible files, a commercial audio service, has an extremely
short battery life, has it seems more things to remember to get it to do what
the Stream or Booksense can do in a quite easy to remember manner. I'm sure
that if I had a PTP to fool around with and was not just reading the manual I
could point out a few more things. One of the things I don't understand about
the PTP is the TTS engine. I understand why the Stream used the TTs that it
did and that was basically because the designers were limited to the technology
at the time, but I don't think the designers of the PTP can use the same
excuse. If I were buying a digital recorder, though, I would consider it,
although even then I think the battery life is to short and just for a digital
recorder it's too pricy.
