Horses for courses.

It depends what you want to do.  If recording is mainly what you want to do,
then I personally think the pocket is your best bet.  I personally like the
ability to decide whether you want to set your recording volume manually,
which can be an asset if you want a really good recording quality, or use
automatic recording levels.  Also the pocket has certain automatic recording
settings for environments like conferences, etc.

And it can play material in different formats as well  and .txt and html
files at this stage.

But it is quite possible that the sense can play back more files  than the
pocket.

Remember all of these devices are updated by firmware updates which can be
downloaded from the manufacturers' websites so what we may discuss as pros
and cons now may not necessarily be true in say 3 months time!
