Problem is I can't find any settings anywhere that would fit this bill. No
menus, nothing! Just "entertainment mode and that's all she wrote.

Subject: continuing saga of creative labs soundcard

Hi Dave. I may be able to help you with the problem your having with
your stream music x-fi card. I too have this card and all settings read with
Jaws. You have been getting good advice on this group from those who have
the card. First, if you installed creative audio update from the disk, you
can run it if your on line and get the latest drivers for the card. Creative
audio update should select the correct ones for you if you run it. If not
you can do it manually. If you are sure you already have the proper drivers,
the problem may be the setting that says something like read text on screen.
I can't remember where that setting is but its in there and before I checked
it, I had the same problems you did. After I checked it, everything read
perfectly. I'll continue to look for it and tell you where it is if I find
it. This really is a quality card. Take care, Joe.
