I'd still ask for my money back if I were you. You could still claim it's
defective. It would give you a chance to let Creative know their product is
inaccessible. You'd also have nothing to lose.

I have officially had enough.  I had a sighted friend over today and we
found that there is just no way I can adjust the properties of this sound
card.  There's this thing called 'entertainment mode and all the controls
are there and just plain not accessible.  

 

I really can't ask for my money back from the manufacturer because the
product is not defective, I just can't use it.

 

So for me at least, Creative means crap.
