Yeah as I thought so you're going to have to do some tweaking, you could record say from Wanamp or Windows Media Player by accessing those applications directly from Total Recorder, I'm not quite sure how to do that, I don't record from those applications myself.

If you're recording from the Internet then you'll need to access a "Software recording", I think you can set this up in the Standard edition.

If you want to record from the radio, from your record player or anything else which is connected to your sound card via the line-in jack you'll need to select this source in Total Recorder or have Total Recorder use the line in which you select in your Volume Control mixer, I gave details about this ealier.

If you want to record from a microphone then you'll need to follow much the same steps as outlined above, selecting the microphone socket as your source rather than line-in.

Note that you can have several instances of total recorder running recording different sources.
