You can play them out of the box with VLC and you can also use Switch from
http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html to convert them to other formats.

You can find out more about MP4 files from any one of the file extension
sites, but the URL
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_play_mp4_files.cfm seems to
have the most information on how to play and convert MP4 files.

hi there. you can use goldwave, or xilisofts audio converter. think vu
player will convert them as well and its free..
