Hi,

When this has happened to me in the past, I just re-installed winamp, taking care to make it your default player. It should then undo window media player's assumptions that you want to use it for everything music!

It used to be that I could right-click on a folder or file and two of
the choices in the resultant menu would be enqueue or play in Winamp.
No more. Now, the choices are add to Windows Media Player list and
play in Windows Media Player. The other side of this is that in
Winamp Preferences, File types, the checkbox that is labeled "Show
Winamp in the context menus in Windows Explorer" is permanently
unchecked. I can check it, press Close, immediately reopen
Preferences, and it's gone back to unchecked again. What have I done,
and how is it undone?

TIA
