What type of file are you attempting to play? WMA files will not play and will result in this type of behavior in winamp. Try the keyboard commands with MP3 files. Try reading these various file types that don't play using another version of jaws--if you have it on your computer.

Subject: Mysterious, but minor, WinAmp problem.

Hello, everyone,
Before I get to my problem, let me introduce myself. My name is Alan Wheeler, and I live in Lincoln, Nebraska.

I am running WinAmp v5.56 on a Windows Vista machine with JAWS 10. Fpr whatever reason, when I do the ctrl-shift-t or alt-shift-t commands, the only feedback I get is 0 minutes and 0 seconds remaining, or elapsed respectively.

Can anyone offer some advice or suggestions. FS tech support and I tried some things to no avail, so I am beyond stumped.

Alan
