Brian and Mario. Infrarecorder sounds a good replacement for me for my
now
outdated CDRWIN program. Can you tell me if it has a "Verify" function
for
checking the integrity of the burn after the CD or DVD is burned?

ok randy,
it's very very simple.
start infrarecorder.
on the file menu choose new project, and thenn data dvd.
now you get 2 windows one where you find select and copy your files from
and
an empty one where you simply paste the files into.
Now when you have done that just go to the action menu, and choose burn
compilation and decide which kind of disk you wnanawanna write.
This should get you started.

I really appreciate it Brian very much.

hi Mathew
why pay for a semi accessible program when there is a fully accessible
one available for free?
But even though it's very self explanatory I'll write a little tutorial
of that simple task Randy is asking for.

Randy,
Since you've not used a burner till now, and since you're only backing
up MP3s, and since it doesn't seem as though you're gonna be using any
DVD burning software in the future, why not use a trial version of a
reliable well known burning suite such as Nero. There's lots of info
and
audio tutorials for Nero 6, 7, and 8.
