Have been using skype 4 for quite some time now without too much bother.  I
honestly can't see what all the fuss is about ...

The public beta cycle for Skype version 4.1 has just started and the
following information is included in the known issues section regarding
accessibility in Skype:

"Accessibility / Keyboard navigation Voicemail and File transfer not
accessible.  None available at present - this will be fixed for 4.1 Gold".
