This is slightly easier under Vista, but easy also under xp. To my
knowledge, in xp you have to use the JAWS cursor or mouse cursor to click on
the column header you want to sort by. Click twice for reverse order. In
vista, it is easily done with the keyboard.

Subject: Searching for files by last modified

  Hi Listers,
OK, so perhaps this is a silly question, but is there a way to sort
files by last modified? Reason being, I have a rather large download
directory of music. As I download new files, they are added to the
directory in alphabetical order. But when it comes time to load music
onto my Victor stream, I sometimes can't find where all the files are.
If I could sort my directory by last modified (or in this case last
added) it would make this process easier. I know this was possible to do
with the old AudioGalaxy Satellite, but I haven't been able to find a
way to do this through windows.
    Thanks.
    Donovan
